2010/2011 FAFSA Packet Information

The FAFSA (and the FAFSA in Spanish) became available January 1, 2010. Please use the following worksheets to assist you in applying for Financial Aid for the 2010/2011 year.

Please note: The PRIORITY DEADLINE to apply for federal and institutional  Financial Aid was March 2, 2010 for the 2010/2011 academic year.

2010-2011 Forms
2010-2011 forms should be used if you are enrolled in Fall 2010, Spring 2011 or Summer 2011. If you haven't already done so, please fill out the 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid [web] (FAFSA) now! Vanguard University's federal school code is 001293. All graduate students requesting to receive financial aid in 2010/2011 are required to complete and submit the Graduate Financial Aid Application.

Once you have been awarded for the 2010/2011 year, you will be expected to read Understanding Your Financial Aid. This information will provide you with an understanding of Financial Aid requirements and expectations you must adhere to in order to renew Financial Aid for future academic years.

Please complete the documents listed below only if you have been requested to do so.

Once you receive your Award Letter from the Financial Aid Office, you will be expected to read Understanding Your Financial Aid. This information will provide you with an understanding of Financial Aid requirements and expectations you must adhere to in order to renew Financial Aid for future academic years.

If you have been offered an Estimated Stafford Loan and plan to move forward with accepting this loan, a Stafford Loan Application is a necessary step in this process. If you are in need of additional resources you may also consider exploring the possibility of Private Alternative Loans, or if you are a dependent student you can have a parent apply for a PLUS Loan.
