09/10 FAFSA Packet Information
The FAFSA (and the FAFSA in Spanish) became available January 1, 2009. Please use the following worksheets to assist you in applying for Financial Aid for the 2009/2010 year.
Please note: The PRIORITY DEADLINE to apply for federal and institutional Financial Aid is March 2, 2009 for the 2009/2010 academic year.
2009/2010 Forms
2009-2010 forms should be used if you are enrolled in Fall 2009, Spring 2010 or Summer 2010. If you haven't already done so, please fill out the 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) now! Vanguard University's school code is 001293.
Once you receive your Award Letter from the Financial Aid Office, you will be expected to read Understanding Your Financial Aid. This information will provide you and your family with an understanding of Financial Aid requirements and expectations you must adhere to in order to renew Financial Aid for future academic years.

If you have been offered an Estimated Stafford Loan and plan to move forward with accepting this loan, a Stafford Loan Application is a necessary step in this process. If you and your family are in need of additional resources you may also consider exploring the possibility of having a parent apply for the PLUS Loan, or you can look into Private Alternative Loans.
