Registrar

Krystal Komatsu
Krystal is the Academic Services Facilitator. Her responsibilities include processing traditional undergraduate Request to Transfer Off-Campus Units Petitions and entering transfer work for current students into the database. She also processes Academic Exceptions, Grade Changes, and Conference Courses/Independent Studies forms. She completed her B.A. in Sociology from Vanguard University in 2008. Connie Harris
Connie is the Academic Services Facilitator for non-traditional programs. She registers students from the School for Professional Studies (SPS),  the Child Development Program (CDP), and the various graduate programs for classes and processes add/drop forms for these programs. She processes SPS Request to Transfer Off-Campus Units Petitions and evaluates current SPS student transfer units. She also monitors the processing of grades for SPS, CDP, and graduate programs. Stephen Moore
Stephen is the Graduation Analyst. His responsibilities include reviewing all traditional undergraduate, Graduate Psychology, and Graduate Business student files for Graduation. After review, he notifies traditional undergraduate students of their graduation status. Carolyn Sumner
Carolyn is the Teacher Advancement Program (TAP) Records Facilitator. She processes TAP student's registration and grades, and issues transcripts to them. She is the liaison between the Registrar's Office and the TAP office in the School of Education. Carolyn's son and daughter-in-law are both VUSC alumni. Kristie Gray
Kristie is the Assistant Registrar. Her responsibilities include the evaluation of transfer work for new students in the traditional undergraduate program and the School for Professional Studies (Nursing and Psychology). She also processes student requests for Study Abroad, Leave of Absence, and VA Educational Benefits. She reviews applications for graduation for SPS, and Graduate Education. She completed her B.A. in Business from Vanguard's SPS Program in 2004. Kristie may be contacted at kgray@vanguard.edu.

John Sim
John is the Associate Registrar. His responsibilities include the evaluation of transfer work for new students in the traditional undergraduate program and the School for Professional Studies (Religion). He compiles the University Catalog, updates the degree audit database with Catalog changes to each major as well as the Core Curriculum, and assists with the development of the Course Schedule. He does the second review of Applications for Graduation and handles the ordering of diplomas. John is also an ordained minister with the Southern California District of the Assemblies of God. He completed his D.Min. from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2001. John may be contacted at jsim@vanguard.edu.

Judy Hamilton
Judy is the University Registrar. She is responsible for the interpretation and application of the University's policies and procedures as they pertain to academic affairs. She serves on various university academic committees. In conjunction with the Deans and her staff, she schedules classes and produces the Course Schedule. Along with the Athletic Department, she is responsible for the certification of student athletes for participation in intercollegiate sports. She is responsible for the overall operations of the Office of the Registrar and manages the staff of the Office of the Registrar.
