Academic Registration
For Spring 2010: November 9-13 for traditional undergraduate students and November 16-20 for graduate students.
Preparing for Registration
| PIN number for Registration: meet with your academic advisor or coordinator (grad students) to obtain your pin number (PINS change each semester) |

| Appointment time (undergrad): you must log on within 30 minutes of your appt time. Appt times will only be rescheduled for class or chapel conflicts. Once you are logged on, you have one hour to complete registration. |
Pre-Requisites: Make sure you have met all pre-requisites for courses you plan to register for. Pre-Requisites can be found in the catalog. |
| Quit Holds: You will not be allowed to register if you have any quit holds. Check "My Profile" on the home page of access.vanguard.edu for quit holds after November 6th and before your appointment time. Only holds that have the word "quit" will prevent you from registering. |

| Closed Classes: Contact the Department in which the class is housed for information on waiting lists. You can find the closed class list on the Course Schedules page. |
Online Free Time: Changes to your schedule can be made online after your appt. every night between 7pm-7am and anytime starting Friday, November 13th through January 15th. |
| Conference Courses & Indivicual Studies: Pick up forms in the Office of the Registrar; additional signatures required. |
Registering for Over 18 units: Fill out an Add form for any units over 18 and procure the signature of the Dean of the school of your major; return the form to the Office of the Registrar. |
| Financial Registration Deadline: January 8, 2009 |
Seniors: Are you planning to finish your degree requirements in May 2010? Turn in your application for graduation to the Department of your major by December 1, 2010. |
| Permission of Instructor Required: An authorization number must be obtained from the Department in which the class is housed in order to register. |
