School for Professional Studies

Dominica manages faculty payroll, oversees curriculum support, creation and revision, interacts and nurtures relationships with publishing companies and Founders Bookstore, coordinates with Department of Human Resources, Development and Office of the Provost for all new hire documentation, and works with SPS Associate Chairs in coordinating faculty meetings.  Dominica is also working along side SPS Director, Jamie Brownlee, to integrate social media into the SPS program. Dominica received her B.A. in Communication Studies and Sociology from Vanguard University and has spent the last year studying Communications at Johns Hopkins University in Washington D.C.  She is passionate about diversity programming and student development in higher education. Kristi Starkey, MS: Director of Recruitment
Kristi interviews prospective students and performs comprehensive educational counseling for students who are interested in starting with SPS. Kristi evaluates student transcripts, reviews the SPS program, explains financial aid options, and outlines what it will take for the student to complete his/her Bachelor’s Degree. Kristi also follows up with prospective students, seeing their process through until they apply. Kristi completed her B.A. degree in Psychology: Human Development from the SPS, and her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at Vanguard University. Mia Grajeda: Recruiter

Mia tracks and follows up with prospective SPS students through the application process and is responsible for student recruitment at college fairs and corporate events. Mia also interviews and guides students through what is necessary to start the SPS program by performing comprehensive education counseling and providing transcript evaluations. Angela Mosley: Director of Student Services and Student Services Coordinator for Psychology Majors
Angela oversees the day to day operations regarding all phases of student enrollment. She works closely with other departments on campus to develop policies and procedures that will best serve the SPS student population. In addition, she is responsible for the ongoing training and management of the SPS Student Services Coordinators. Angela is a graduate of Hope International University, with a BS in Human Development. She may be contacted at amosley@vanguard.edu.

Jessica Hoellerich: Student Services Coordinator for Business and Religion Majors

Jessica provides comprehensive academic advisement for all SPS Business and Religion major students, by conducting entrance interviews, reviewing each student's academic progress, facilitating registration, and advising students regarding academic planning until graduation. She serves as the direct liaison between the Business and Religion major students and the various administrative offices at Vanguard University. Jessica also assesses the quality of the degree program with faculty, staff, students, and administration and facilitates program changes with students and related offices as needed. Jane Le: Secretary
Jane is the first friendly face that you will encounter when contacting the School for Professional Studies. She offers general administrative and office support, including supply acquisitions, managing in-person and telephone traffic, and provides information on various programs and services available throughout the campus. Jane graduated from UC Riverside with a BA in Sociology. She may be contacted at jane.le@vanguard.edu
