Vanguard University has a long history of training, sending, and supporting missionaries, and our short-term mission program is an integral part of that rich heritage. Far more than a two or three week experience, our mission program has long-term transformation at its core, transformation both for our students and for the people and communities they serve around the world.

For the last three years, the Office of Diversity Programming and Mobilization has had the privilege of challenging students to take part in more than the traditional 2-3 week trip. The SOS program offers ministry opportunities that are the perfect Next Step for those who have been on a Vanguard short term mission trip.
If you desire to serve the Lord for an entire summer, pray about partnering with various ministries offered this summer.
