Theatre Arts Auditions/Interviews


To schedule an audition (Performance/Directing or Musical Theatre Concentrations) or interview (Technical/Design Concentration):


  1. Complete and submit the on-line Theatre Arts Audition Information Form
  2. If you perform, prepare two contrasting monologues (comedy/drama or contemporary/classic, for example, no longer than 2 minutes each)
  3. If you sing, prepare at least 16 bars of a Broadway song (bring CD accompaniment).
  4. If you dance, prepare one piece of your choosing, no longer than 5 minutes.
  5. If available, submit a headshot, resume, and letters of recommendation from your Theatre Teacher/Drama Coach, Technical Director, or Dance Teacher.
  6. For Technical/Design Concentration candidates, bring a portfolio to your interview if available.
